Making do? Let's talk and make it work. | |

My mother, an interior designer, taught me early on that cerulean and blue are not the same color. In the 2nd and 3rd grades, I won school competitions for designing children's books. My 6th grade science fair project was on pigment. I started my training early. But I rebelled. As you do. I went to liberal arts school, studied politics, economics, and sociology, and had a career in program management for a national nonprofit. In the midst of that, I started designing conference materials, and rediscovered my love of typography, color, and composition. I went back to school.
The nonprofit gene hasn't been abandoned. It's been repurposed. Into a designer that collaborates. A strategy that gets what you do. And design that shows why it matters.
